How much do we really know about sleep and health – and how much is still slipping through the cracks? From October 9 to 11, 2025, Zagreb will host Sleep Croatia, the largest event of its kind ever held in the country, fully dedicated to sleep medicine.

Over three days of lectures, workshops, and discussions, we’ll explore key topics that are increasingly shaping treatment outcomes, quality of life, and public health:

    • Artificial intelligence and polysomnographic data analysis – are we making full use of it?
    • The full spectrum of sleep disorders – insomnia, parasomnias, RBD, narcolepsy
    • Why do 90% of people with sleep apnea remain inadequately treated?
    • Sleep in menopausal women – a neglected topic with significant consequences
    • Pharmacotherapy for obesity and its role in treating sleep disorders

Sleep Croatia 2025 brings together experts from psychiatry, neurology, pulmonology, otorhinolaryngology, nursing, physiotherapy, psychology, and other fields – because sleep medicine today demands a truly interdisciplinary approach.

Organizers:

    • University Psychiatric Hospital Vrapče – with over 60 years of experience in sleep medicine
    • Croatian Sleep Apnea Society / Croatian Medical Association – the national association dedicated to advancing the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related breathing disorders
    • Academy of Medical Sciences of Croatia – the leading national institution for the promotion of medical science and public health

These are the topics that define treatment outcomes today – and will be standard tomorrow. Be among those who already understand and apply them.
